Under the Sea

A fangtooth?  A megamouth shark?  A sea pig?!

This first link is one of my all-time favourite things to look at online.  As you scroll down, you’ll see the sorts of creatures that live under the sea.  It starts off with creatures you’d probably recognise quite quickly.  As you start descending into the darker depths, all sorts of incredible creatures reveal themselves.

Another fun place to spend some time under the water is with the Jelly Cam at Monterey Bay Aquarium.  It’s surprisingly relaxing watching these many-tentacled creatures glide through the water.

One of our most popular non-fiction topics in the Children’s Library is sharks. Check out the live web camera to see different types at Shark Lagoon!

And there is so much to learn about in our own big, blue backyard!
