Celebrating Youth Week
Wednesday 20 May 2015
There's something for everyone to celebrate Youth Week across Tasman District Libraries this year.
From the Japanese art of Amigurimi (knit or crochet small cute animals and creatures) to learning how to draw people, or testing your moves in a chess tournament, Richmond Library's activities will suit a variety of tastes and levels of expertise.
From Motueka Library you will take to the streets for a giant Scavenger Hunt which will test your knowledge of the town. There's even snacks!
While in Takaka Library they will be so pleased to see you that every second Young Adult book going out the door will be accompanied by a free chocolate fish.
You can leave to nibble and read or stay behind on Friday 29 May to build a giant book domino.
