Tōtara: A Natural and Cultural History at Richmond Library

Golden Bay ethnobotanist Philip Simpson will be talking about his new book Tōtara: A Natural and Cultural History at Richmond Library on Wednesday 8 November at 12.30pm.

Simpson, who describes the Tōtara as one of New Zealand's "most magnificent trees" and "the largest of the podocarps in the entire world", will talk about the Tōtara and its important place in New Zealand botany and history.

The talk is free and bookings are not necessary. Cash sales of Philip Simpson's book will be available for $75.
