Summer Loving at the Library

Monday 20 January 2020

Which classic musical romantic comedy set in a 1950’s high school was set to the soundtrack of songs such as “Hopelessly Devoted To You”, “You’re The One That I Want” and “Look At Me, I’m Sandra Dee”?

Find out at the first Movie Night of 2020 at 7.00pm on Monday 27 January in the Constance Barnicoat room at Richmond Library.

This PG-rated film featuring John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John and Stockard Channing has been hugely popular since its release in 1978, bringing high school social politics into the spotlight and making greased-back bouffants and tight black t-shirts for men dubious vintage fashion staples.

Don’t miss this opportunity to dance in the aisles in your Pink Ladies, 1950s square, jock or greaser outfit!

It’s free to attend and everyone is welcome. Contact Richmond Library, phone 03 543 8500 to book your spot.
