Poetry and Romance Alive and Well in Richmond

Monday 18 March 2013

If you missed Wellington author Barbara Else's recent visit, don't worry - there are two further fabulous NZ Book Month events coming up at Richmond Library.

Local poets Cliff Fell, Rachel Bush, Louise Wallace and Mark Raffills will read a selection of their work on Thursday 21 March at 12.00 noon.

"It's an ideal way to spend your lunch hour," says Richmond Library Promotions Assistant, Tania Norfolk.

"Bring your lunch, grab a coffee or cup of tea from the library cafe and kick back, listen and dream."

After basking in poetry, you can follow it up a week later with an hour of love. Some of our very own local romance writers will spice up your day with stories and tips on the art of romance writing. Feel the Love is happening on Thursday 28 March at 12.00 noon.

The events at Richmond Library  are part of a shared programme organised by Tasman District Libraries, Nelson Public Libraries and Page & Blackmore Booksellers.
