He's back!

In news, magic to the ears of all Harry fans around the world, JK Rowling has just anounced that her new book Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts I and II, the eighth in the series, will be published on July 31.

The book picks up at the end of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows after Harry says goodbye to his children at Platform Nine and Three Quarters and is an adaptation of the script for her two-part stage play of the same name.

"JK Rowling and her team have received a huge number of appeals from fans who can't be in London to see the play and who would like to read the play in book format - and so we are absolutely delighted to be able to make it available to them," says David Shelley, CEO of Little Brown Book Group. A special edition script eBook will also be available on the 31st.

Rowling isn't giving away much about the plot, just a teaser that Harry, an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, is finding it difficult to deal with his family legacy.
