New Graphic Novel Collection for Adults

Friday 25 October 2019

If you thought comics were for kids, you should check out the new adult graphic novel collection based at Richmond Library. Written for adults, these novels and non-fiction books depend on pictures to tell the full story. Some of these graphic novels are similar to the Asterix, Batman or Garfield comic strips you may be familiar with, but the collection also includes books with award winning illustrations, sophisticated storylines and complex topics.  Library Staff with new graphic novels

The collection contains books by authors such as Neil Gaiman and Dylan Horrocks, and publishers include Dark Horse, Fantagraphics, Graphic Universe, Marvel, Oni Press, DC's Vertigo Imprint, Top Shelf Productions and Victoria University Press.

If you are a graphic novel fan and don't see your favourite authors or titles, Library Assistant Sophus Glasgow says that the collection will be growing, so the library is glad to receive suggestions for new graphic novels.
