March author talks at Richmond Library

Wednesday 10 March 2021

To make up for the dearth of author talks during Level 2, we’re pleased to be bringing you TWO this month.

On Tuesday 16 March at 1.00pm, award winning local poet Cliff Fell will be talking about and reading from his poem An Epic Poem for Lawrence Ferlinghetti, which he wrote for Steve Braunias and Newsroom in 2020. This will be followed by a meeting of the Richmond Writing Group from 2.00pm-3.00pm.

Then, at 5.30pm on Thursday 25 March, we will be hosting author Robyn Prokop’s launch of her new book Heartstone. Heartstone is described in glowing terms by the Wishing Shelf as, ‘A top-notch fantasy populated with charismatic, larger than life characters.’ Also the launch of the audiobook for Taelstone, Robyn’s first novel, Robyn and her narrator, Jonathan Moffat, will be discussing the joys and challenges of producing an audiobook.

Both events are free to attend and will take place in the Constance Barnicoat room at Richmond Library.
