Get With the Programme at Your Local Library

Monday 18 February 2013

Tasman library staff are gearing up to offer a wide range of programmes and courses across the region this year.

You can get started with e-readers, learn some basic computer skills or develop advanced research techniques at your local library.

"Our e-reader classes have been hugely popular," says Information Services Librarian, Cathy Vaughan.

"People are really keen to find out which e-readers suit them best. And of course once they're set up with the e-reader of their choice, they're then able to download from the library's e-book collection."

Regular favourites like the book clubs are all back this month, including the popular Tiny Tots pre-school storytimes.

With art display spaces in both Richmond and Takaka libraries, Richmond's digital creation suite The Imaginarium and free access computers in all the libraries there's always something to do at your local library.
