Food Glorious Food

Want some enticing new food ideas to move into spring with? Richmond Library has several things planned to get you inspired during September.

"It's nice to leave winter soups and crock-pots behind and get some fresh ideas," Collections Services Assistant Librarian, Carolyn McMahon says.

"We're planning a display with tantalising recipe books as the main course for you to pick and choose from."

The library is also running a Recipe Exchange throughout September. The idea is to swap your favourite recipe for someone else's tasty suggestion.

As well as the Recipe Exchange, the library is serving up a bread making workshop with experienced local baker Terry McMahon.

So, shake off winter, get your taste buds working and find new ways to bake, stir, fry and simmer at Richmond Library.
