Thursday 25 October 2012

Novelist Hilary Mantel has won the 2012 Man Booker Prize - her second - for Bring up the Bodies.

The story is at the heart of Tudor history, following the twists and turns of the trial of English Queen Ann Boleyn for adultery and treason.

Bring Up the Bodies is the sequel to bestseller Wolf Hall, which also won the Man Booker Prize in 2009.

Sixty-year-old Mantel is currently writing the third novel in the series.
