HerStory: a celebration of local women

To commemorate the 125th anniversary of women's suffrage in New Zealand, Tasman Libraries are bringing together materials that document and celebrate the lives of local women from 1893 to 1993. We’re really interested to see how local women’s experiences at home and at work, in education, the arts, sports and recreation have changed over time.

Teen Book Group at Richmond Library

Is there a young adult in your life who loves books, enjoys meeting people, likes playing games and making crafts, and is a fan of eating snacks?  If the answer is yes, then send them along to Mystery Ink, Richmond Library's book group for teens who are 12+.  Once a month, the group meets with our Young Adult Services Assistant Librarian Amy Groome in the Constance Barnicoat Room at Richmond Library.  The hour-long session is open to all teens who have an interest in the world of books, creativity and fun.
