Teen Book Group at Richmond Library

Monday 26 February 2018

Is there a young adult in your life who loves books, enjoys meeting people, likes playing games and making crafts, and is a fan of eating snacks?  If the answer is yes, then send them along to Mystery Ink, Richmond Library's book group for teens who are 12+.  Once a month, the group meets with our Young Adult Services Assistant Librarian Amy Groome in the Constance Barnicoat Room at Richmond Library.  The hour-long session is open to all teens who have an interest in the world of books, creativity and fun.

Over the past year, the group have made wind-up cars and anti-Valentine's Day Frankentoys, they've painted Halloween-themed rocks, made a wall-sized Where's Wally out of Post-it notes, relaxed with a movie, dressed up as toilet paper zombies, eaten pizza, popcorn and waffles, and, most importantly, had first dibs on the beautiful range of brand-new books and comics that have come into the Young Adult collection.  The next catch up is on Thursday 1 March from 3:30-4:30pm.
