New Zealand’s Biggest Michael Jackson Fan at Richmond Library

Monday 21 January 2019

It might only be on the big screen, but New Zealand’s biggest Michael Jackson fan is visiting Richmond Library at 7.00pm on Monday 28 January.

This month’s Movie Night is a comedy-drama about an 11 year old boy living in a small seaside community on the North Island’s East Cape in 1984. Seen through his eyes, the world – complete with absent gang member father, buried treasure, cash chomping goats, and Michael Jackson – takes on a tragi-comic hue.

Written and directed by Taika Waititi, and one of New Zealand’s best-loved films of 2010, this movie is a must-see.

To book your spot, contact Richmond Library 03 543 8500.

Free. M rated. 7.00pm, Monday 28 January.
