Great Graphic Novels For Adults
Friday 15 September 2017
These novels are graphic in the illustrated – not violent or lewd - sense. The illustrations provide an additional dimension to your reading that regular novels don’t provide.
Some of the best graphic novels for adults that you can find at Tasman District Libraries include Alison Bechdel’s Fun Home and Are You My Mother?
New Zealand author Sarah Laing’s Mansfield and Me is also a great read. And local writing and illustrating team Mat Tait and Mike Brown’s The Heading Dog Who Split in Half: Legends and Tall Tales From New Zealand is a wonderful example of the genre.
Branch out and try a graphic novel.
