Big Sale at Richmond Library

Wednesday 12 December 2018

The library is always brimming with fantastic books and we are always acquiring more. But, you might wonder, if the library keeps buying new books what happens to the old ones?!

Well, when a library book retires it gets a new lease of life on someone’s home bookshelf.

This summer from Thursday 20 December until Tuesday 8 January you can come in and adopt an orphaned library book for loose change.

Adult books: 50¢ each or 5 for $2.00.

Adult Magazines: 20¢ each

Children’s books: 20¢ each

The book sale will take place in the Constance Barnicoat room at the Queen Street end of Richmond Library.

Come down and peruse our wonderful selection of pre-loved books and give one a new home on your bookshelf.
