Alzheimers and Dementia Information at Richmond Library

Thursday 10 September 2015

Alzheimers Nelson and Richmond Library are joining forces to provide monthly Alzheimers and dementia information sessions.

These informal drop in sessions are scheduled for the fourth Wednesday of the month between 9.30 and 11.00am with the first session on Wednesday 23 September.

“The resounding success of leading dementia expert Dr Chris Perkins’ visit to Richmond Library in June highlighted the level of interest in the Richmond community,” says Heather Lackner of Alzheimers Nelson.

“These drop in sessions at Richmond Library are one way of reaching out to more of the community who are increasingly seeking information to help them understand and manage dementia.”

Heather will be in the library to answer questions and provide information. No bookings are necessary and all questions relating to Alzheimers and dementia are welcome.
