Computers
Need to check your email, upload photos or complete an online application? Want to read full-text newspapers online? Sure thing.
We have internet computers and WiFi access available at all the Tasman District Libraries. Public internet computers, software and internet are provided by the National Library through the Aotearoa People's Network Kaharoa (APNK).
The free internet computers run on Chrome OS. Creation and editing of documents can be done online using services such as Google Docs or Office 365. These require an account to use to create and save documents. Ask library staff if you need help with this.
There are Chromebox desktop computers with mice, keyboards and touch screens available for 30 minute sessions.
There are also Chromebooks for loan and use within the library buildings in Motueka, Tākaka and Richmond. These can be used for 1 hour at a time.

- If all desktops are busy book at a self-booking station with a guest pass or your library card.
- Ask a librarian at one of the service desks if you need help;
For Chromebook laptops
- Ask a librarian at one of the service desks in Richmond, Motueka or Tākaka and they can supply you with a Chromebook
Printing
A4 printing is available at all of the Tasman District Libraries.
You can bring material that you would like to print to the library on a USB memory stick or create it online in the library.
- Printing is double-sided by default but you can still select single-sided printing.
- Rates are determined by the number of printed sides, not the number of sheets of paper.
- If you are having any issues printing, or would just like some advice, please ask library staff.
