chromeStationBrowse newpapers on the touchscreen computers at Richmond Library

Need to check your email, upload photos or complete an online application? Want to read full-text newspapers online? Sure thing.

We have internet computers and WiFi access available at all the Tasman District Libraries. Public internet computers, software and internet are provided by the National Library through the Aotearoa People's Network Kaharoa (APNK).

The free internet computers run on Chrome OS. Creation and editing of documents can be done online using services such as Google Docs or Office 365. These require an account to use to create and save documents. Ask library staff if you need help with this.

There are Chromebox desktop computers with mice, keyboards and touch screens available for 30 minute sessions.

There are also Chromebooks for loan and use within the library buildings in Motueka, Takaka and Richmond. These can be used for 1 hour at a time.
